If you’re lucky you get to visit the beach and see sunsets on the water. No matter how often you get to see it they are always magical. I love the visual effect of the light being streamed through the atmosphere. Air is a gas and with the right conditions mother nature can draw shapes with water vapors and light. The colors are magnifacent. This sculpture includes sea shells from a day’s walk. This sculpture is a perfect example of how you can take the experience of “A Day at the Beach” into a work of art and be able to relive the experience over and over each time you look at it. Install this sculpture somewhere like a bathroom or kitchen where you can see it everyday. Feel the joy of the day you spent on the beach to watch the sun set.
The oil painting is on canvas. The sea shells are real. The stick is from my woods and the background is made of handmade paper created from plants grown in my yard.

Contact Journey Sculptures when you decide to purchase a sculpture in the inventory. All sales are done in person or by phone. We accept credit cards, and other forms of payment. Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied. Not only with your sculpture, but also the process of purchasing and delivery. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure all processes are smooth.
Shipping
Shipping will be arranged at the time of purchasing the sculpture. If possible Deborah will deliver and install the sculpture. When hand delivery is not possible boxing and shipping will be arranged with a national or international carrier. This will be worked out at the time of purchase. Factors of location and size of sculpture will determine if additional cost will be incurred. Deborah’s intent is to keep the cost as manageable as possible. There is no reasonable way to calculate the shipping cost without knowing the location. We decided to do it this way so that we were not arbitrarily adding shipping cost to each sculpture price. It makes sense to figure shipping at the time of the sale.
