Humming Bird

Hummingbird is a magnet given to me years ago. It used to hang out in my jewelry box until it found a home here. It flies on a vintage scoop that is most likely used in a flour bin. The “Red Trumpet” flower painting is done in oils on a wooden flower then waxed. The tea ceremony whisk was used until it needed to be replaced. The unfinished needlepoint was rescued. THe combination carpenter Square became rusted and too hard to read so it finds a special spot in the sculpture. The sculpture is topped off with some metal blueberries. These were once part of a vintage napkin dispener. The sculptures Butterfly and pinecone, Hummingbird and Royalty look great displayed together.
